region’s capacity to compete as a top-tier Midwestern
destination.
Whether the arts are used as a tool for revival of our downtowns,
cultural tourism or workforce attraction and education, the arts
enhance our communities as places to live, work and play.
Fortunately the Quad Cities has a vast and rich inventory of cultural
attractions and arts programming providers – and is growing all the
time.
Newcomers and natives alike have had a chance to experience the
numerous arts opportunities here from outdoor theatre in the park to
children’s classes at local museums to professional ballet
performances to glass blowing workshops to affordable studio space to
thriving music festivals.
The Quad Cities is on the verge of achieving general consciousness and
brand awareness as a Midwest Arts Mecca -- and you can help make it
