Midwest
Arts Mecca
More than a logo, it’s a mindset.
What is it?
The Midwest Arts Mecca concept is a branding tool for the entire Quad
Cities as our community relates to arts and culture. It’s provided
here as a logo to use whenever possible or appropriate in your
collateral marketing efforts, both locally and region wide.
Who should use it?
Businesses, organizations and individuals wishing to celebrate the
collective strength of our region’s arts and culture. Arts
organizations, funding agencies, sponsors and underwriters, and local
businesses big and small. Through the use of this logo, make this
branding concept available to your marketing, public relations, graphic
design and development staff within your organization.
How do I use this?
Whenever and wherever you feel celebrating the strengths of our
community’s arts and culture will assist you in achieving your own
mission.
- At your own web site
- In conjunction with area arts programs your
organization sponsors or underwrites.
- Marketing brochures, print ads, and
newsletters.
- Development and funding proposals both locally
and nationwide.
- Television commercials and documentary or
promotional videos.
- Download the logo in your favorite file format

How much does it cost?
Zero. No dollars. The best ideas are free and your cost is simply your
initiative and time in utilizing the Arts Mecca concept within your
existing marketing and communications efforts. Email
a web ready copy (gif, jpg) of your organization’s logo for
inclusion on this portal web site absolutely free.
What other efforts are being made with regards to the Arts Mecca
concept?
MidCoast Fine Arts is contacting all area arts and arts related
businesses and organizations, large and small, to encourage the usage of
this branding tool. Already others have recognized the collective
strengths of the area’s arts and culture, including the Quad Cities
Convention and Visitors Bureau, the River Cities Reader, QC Online and
more. MidCoast Fine Arts will continuously strive to recognize those who
are celebrating the Arts Mecca model through cross promotions, advocacy
